DiaCare®

Anti-diarrhea supplement for neonates

Containing Electrolytes, Probiotics and Prebiotics

Diarrhea in calves and other infant ruminants is one of the most important factors that threaten health and cause significant losses and deaths in herds. Losses and high treatment costs cause significant economic losses to the livestock industry.

Most diarrheas occur in the first weeks after birth, which can be caused by several internal and external factors. The main internal cause of immune system weakness is due to insufficient intake of immunoglobulins along with colostrum in the early hours after birth and improper intake of natural microbial flora. Pathogenic factors causing diarrhea can be bacterial, viral or parasitic.

Because of the importance of time in controlling infant diarrhea syndrome, identifying the cause of diarrhea is the second priority. Most of these agents are self-limiting and are removed from the body after a period of de-infection.

Dehydration (loss of body water), loss of electrolytes and acidosis are the most important causes of death in infants with diarrhea, and the most important goal should be to control them and return the livestock to natural conditions. Dehydration is improved with fluid therapy, and proper adjustment of electrolyte therapy restores electrolytes and corrects acidosis.

DiaCare® anti-diarrhea therapeutic supplement is a knowledge-based product of the new generation of anti-diarrhea supplements.

This supplement contains electrolytes, energy sources, probiotics and prebiotics.

By having a complete set of electrolytes needed by the animal's body, this product compensates for the lost electrolytes and by having simple energy sources, compensate the energy immediately.
