The managing director of Mahan biotherapy company stated; The researchers of Pardis Technology Park broke the monopoly of production of anti-diarrhea medicine for livestock…

“Mahan Biotherapy” company, a member of Pardis Technology Park, has succeeded in producing “anti-diarrhea supplement based on probiotics and prebiotics” under the brand name (Diacare).

Diarrhea in baby animals is one of the most important causes of death. Traditional anti-diarrhea therapeutic supplements based on ORS, fluid therapy and antibiotics have lost their efficiency and effectiveness due to microbial resistance. Diacare is a supplement based on probiotics and prebiotics. This product is used in livestock farms and horse farms.

Products similar to this product are mainly produced in European countries (Germany, Italy, Spain) and the price of each sachet with the same weight and consumption is about 3 to 5 euros. While Diacare’s anti-diarrhea supplement is sold at a price of less than one euro.

According to us, the difference of at least 3 euros with similar foreign products and the fact that the annual production capacity of this product is 30 tons equal to 300 thousand sachets, we can expect savings of at least 900 thousand euros per year. With the increase in market acceptance and development of the production of this product, we can expect currency savings of up to 2 million euros per year.
